A Practical Example
A4 is approximately 210 × 297 mm, while US Letter is 215.9 × 279.4 mm. When fitting A4 content onto Letter, the tool scales it proportionally to fit the available area and centers it. It does not stretch the content to fill both dimensions. Custom dimensions use the entered width and height unless you select the swap-dimensions option.
Resize PDF Pages Features and Limitations
Resized pages do not retain interactive links, comments or form fields. Document bookmarks and attachments are not carried into the rebuilt PDF. Complete and flatten forms before resizing. Unselected pages retain their dimensions, but document-level interactive features are not guaranteed. Review the result before official submission or printing.

Which paper sizes are supported?
A4, A3, US Letter and US Legal are available, along with custom dimensions from 25 to 2,000 mm for each side.
Does the tool stretch my content?
No. It scales the visible content proportionally and centers it. White space may remain when the original and target shapes differ.
Can I resize only a few pages?
Yes. Enter page numbers or ranges, such as 1, 4-7. Leave the page field blank to resize the entire document.
Will my PDF remain searchable?
Existing text remains PDF text during resizing. A scanned image does not become searchable because this tool does not perform OCR.
Are form fields and links preserved?
Interactive links, comments and form fields on resized pages are not retained. Flatten completed forms before resizing and review the downloaded file.
Does resizing compress a PDF?
Not necessarily. Resizing changes page dimensions and can increase or decrease the file size. Use a compressor when file size is your main concern.
Can I make a landscape PDF?
Yes. Choose the landscape or swap-dimensions option to reverse the selected width and height.
Is there a file-size limit?
